FOLK SENSATIONAL JESSICA PRATT TO BRING NEW ALBUM TO FUTURE
Jessica Pratt – acclaimed folk singer-songwriter known for her hypnotic acoustic guitar sound and vocals, will fill the Prague Futurum with his unique voice! On November 24, an unforgettable experience full of deep emotions, a dreamy atmosphere and the sound of the sixties awaits us. And also songs from the latest album, Here in The Pitch.
“I like music that makes you feel like you can touch the sound in the air,” Pratt says of his new album. That it will be a great experience is also confirmed by the excellent rating on Pitchfork in the Best New Music category. Nine tracks, the personification of the hippie era in contrast with the flip side of the American dream, you simply have to experience it. Here in The Pitch was released this May, and like everything Jessica Pratt does, it's best to say it's full of emotion.
New tracks include Life Is, a mystical and elusive medley reminiscent of the orchestral style of sixties pop hits. Captivating folk that tempts the listener to return to the past, but at the same time is amazingly modern. Nostalgia, timeless beauty, but also a perfect combo of a unique voice and musical evolution in the singer's work. For the first time, we can hear light drumming, the sound of synthesizers and, if we listen to each other, distant bongos in the songs.
It is as if we are moving away, but at the same time we perceive an intimate atmosphere even in a larger space. Excellently rated album, unique voice and folk music. This is a great show that you won't easily forget. Look forward to an absolute immersion in the atmosphere that you have to experience and feel everything everywhere.
