The cycle "Films after which it is difficult to remain silent" presents films that explore sadness, addiction, the reverse face of humanity or the search for one's own identity. It consists of four screenings with discussions, which always take place on the last Tuesday of the month.

🎥 The fourth and last screening of this series will be a film by the legend of world photography Libuša Jarcovjáková entitled I am not yet, who I want to be (2024). This is an intimate documentary about the search for one's own identity, freedom and place in a world that sets limits not only from the outside, but also from the inside. Through a personal statement and archival photographs, we follow the journey of a woman who tries to survive as a creator, as a person and as a being bound by time, expectations and inner doubts.
The film sensitively connects a personal story with a wider historical context and opens up questions about pressure to perform, loneliness, depression and the price we pay for authenticity. How is our identity formed, where do we seek freedom, and what does it mean to "be yourself" - then and now?
We will try to find answers to (not only) these questions together in the subsequent discussion, with a guest whose name we will reveal later.
