About event
Libuše Jarcovjáková is a legend of world photography and an unrestrained woman who defied all conventions. Her life is a mosaic of fascinating encounters and wild stories - from the harsh underground of communist Czechoslovakia, through exclusive photo shoots for fashionistas in Tokyo, to a dramatic escape to West Berlin, where she witnessed the fall of the Iron Curtain. Directed by Klára Tasovská, a formally unique documentary was created from thousands of analog photographs and pages of personal diaries, which thrilled the audience at the Berlinale festival. prepared FOTOGRAF CONTEMPORARY in cooperation with the Untitled publishing house.
