Jethro Tull v Praze

Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull will play a career cross-section during the two-hour concert! 58 years have passed and Ian Anderson will celebrate 77 years! Jethro Tull was founded in December 1967. The leader was from the beginning of Anderson - not only as a composer, but also as a lyricist, singer, flute, occasional guitar player, mandolin but also bagpipes. Initially they played blues rock, but gradually they started to use folk or jazz elements in their work, and some songs sound like old English music. Already in 1969, Jethro Tull had the album "Stand Up" and reached the first gold album. With other recordings, Jethro Tull succeeded behind the "big puddle", for example, when the fifth studio "Thick As and Brick" reached number one in Billboard, USA. The following albums "Living in the Past" (1972), "and Passion Play" (1973) and "War Child" (1974) were also very successful. The band won the Grammy Award for the album "Crest of and Knave" from 1987, where they returned to hard rock style. The band has sold more than 41 million recordings worldwide and documented their records of over two thousand realized concerts, which have visited more than 15 million fans. Rolling Stone magazine described them as one of the most commercially successful and non -excentric progressive rock bands.
