About event
D 2025 * Documentary * Director: Lars Jessen
With: Robert Habeck, Lars Jessen, Luisa Neubauer and many others. * 89 min. FSK 6
"NOW. WHERE. My journey with Robert Habeck" is a very personal documentary by Lars Jessen. The film looks behind the scenes of Robert Habeck's 2025 election campaign - a campaign that begins with great expectations and ends with significant losses for the GREENS. Habeck then withdrew from politics. Hardly any German politician has triggered more emotions in recent years: for some he is a beacon of hope, for others a projection surface for all disappointments.
Lars Jessen – filmmaker, friend, advisor and long-time companion – is looking for answers: Why did it happen like this? What went wrong and how can progressive politics succeed again in times of populism?
On his search, Jessen speaks with companions from all phases of Habeck's life: from politics, school days, as well as with neuroscientists and communication scientists, thinkers, narrators, actors, presenters and journalists. (rental)
