With a reputation as a piano and improvisational genius, but at the same time with the background of an interesting life story in which chance played a role, the forty-three-year-old Israeli musician Yaron Herman arrives. used as themes for improvisation. He sometimes refers to his roots when he plays compositions by Jewish authors - he even recorded a jazz version of the Israeli national anthem. Like some of his other instrument colleagues, for example Brad Mahldau, he is not afraid to reach for inspiration even in the field of popular music: in this way he has already fished out, for example, Leonard Cohen, Nirvana, The Police, and even Britney Spears in his playlist.
< br/>We will see what this extremely creative and somehow naturally original artist will be inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Villa Tugendhat. And will this inspiration, and therefore the pianist's program, be different in the early evening and in the evening, i.e. between the two concerts that Yaron Herman will play in Brno?
