About event
Joe Sanders ‘Parallels
Since he left the Midwest to California in 2002 to visit the Brubeck Institute, the double bass player Joe Sanders was lucky and learned alongside the greatest jazz personalities. And a great ride went on: Dave Brubeck, Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard, Ron Carter, Roy Hargrove, John Clayton, Charlie Haden, Herbie Hancock, Charles Lloyd and Wayne Shorter. The breathtaking gallery at only forty years of age.
James Brandon Lewis Trio In the case of his instrumental colleague James Brandon Lewis, however, he made an exception: "When I listen to you, I listen to Buddha, listen to Confucia… I listen to the deeper sense of life. You keep the world in balance."
