About event
💥No more compromises, no more empty promises! Join us on 20.11. at 12 o'clock in front of the Janáček Theater!💥
🌍While the planet is burning, governments and corporations are selling our future for fossil profits. But we are not only facing climate collapse. The slowly intensifying effects of the climate crisis tend to be less emphasized, because countless other crises fall upon us, for which the current economic system and even the oligarchy can be blamed. From the housing crisis, through inflation, ever-increasing social inequality, to ongoing wars, fueled by imperialism and a flourishing arms industry. 🌪️
📢The Czech government is not solving any of this. When there is an opportunity to at least mitigate the effects of climate change on the population in the form of a fair distribution of money to the most needy, the money will still end up in the pockets of a handful of powerful people. However, without a change in economic course, i.e. without a departure from unlimited growth on a limited planet, no other crisis will ever be resolved. We need real and sustainable change that will bring social and economic justice.
🕊️Our fight cannot be focused only on the climate. We march not only for a healthy planet, but also for the rights of those who suffer the most from the injustices of the system and remain invisible*. For disadvantaged communities, indigenous peoples, workers, victims of racism and gender oppression. We must focus on solidarity with all members of society. Together we are fighting for a fair and dignified future for all of us.🌱
✊This situation affects us all, so it is important that we solve it together. It is time for all of our voices to be heard again; the hope of our planet and our communities lies precisely in it. We want a healthy climate, to determine our future together and democratically, we want peace and equality.
Another world is possible! It makes sense!🧑🤝🧑👫👭👬
