Jiří Kabát studied Prague Conservatory and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. As a soloist, conductor or arranger and composer, he collaborated with most domestic orchestras. He has been awarded from international competitions and has also won other awards and scholarships such as Classic Prague Award, Governor's Prize, Tillett Trust Bursary and others. After eight seasons, Vlach's Quartet Violek took the position of Vlach's Quartet, and for two years he worked in the same role at Pavel Haas Quartet. He worked as a teacher at the Pardubice Conservatory, since the school year 2020/21 he was appointed director of the Elementary Art School Pardubice - Polabiny. He is a permanent member of the Barocco Sempre Giovane. Jiří is also a graduate of the composition and conducting in the class Jiří Gemrot respectively. Miriam Němcová and Miroslav Košler. In 2011 he won the Antonín Dvořák International Compositional Competition Award. He is the OSA Award for 2013 for the most successful composer of classical music.
