About event
The company of Jiří Mahen invites all lovers of good literature, theater and history to the lecture of associate professor Jiří Poláček, dedicated to Jiří Mahen.
This event will be the start of a new lecture cycle, which wants to acquaint not only the person, but especially the work of Jiří Mahen.
Through Mahen's works we will watch the fate of our country and its inhabitants. And hopelessly, which brought the end of the thirties.
We will talk about the desire to create, the joy it brings, but also of its shortness and transience.
