John Butler in Paradiso

John Butler is formed on the street. For years he traveled as a street musician along the cities of Australia, his home country. Here he developed his raw mix of folk and rootsrock. Thanks to his unique guitar sound (an eleven-stringed acoustic guitar over which he pops a large bowl of effects) and sincere texts, he managed to touch people into their souls. John Butler formed a trio with a drummer and a bass player and moved into the world under the moniker John Butler Trio. The musician slowly but surely moved from the street to the clubs and the festival and has arrived at the moment in his career that he can easily be called an icon that has shown his musical arts around the world.

He made his new album 'Prism' to be released together with producer James Ireland. In contrast to earlier work (in which his band participated in the creative manufacturing process), John Butler wrote this album completely alone. For that reason, he leaves the word 'trio' behind his name for the time being. But don't be afraid: his inimitable band travels with him to Europe.
