After performances with Kenny Barron and Kris Davis, this time he is in Berlin as the leader of his band PENTAD to present his album My Life Matters, which was released in August on Blue Note Records; a suite that musically processes the idea of ​​standing up against injustice. Johnathan Blake is an American jazz drummer and composer. He has worked with many jazz greats, including Tom Harrell, Kenny Barron, David Sánchez, Don Byron, Oliver Lake, Randy Brecker, and many others. Blake is also known for his work as a member of the Omer Avital Quintet and the Ravi Coltrane Quartet. In his own projects, Blake has brought together a number of high-profile musicians such as Chris Potter, Mark Turner, Avishai Cohen and Ben Street. His playing is characterized by energy and creativity, and he is highly regarded by critics and audiences alike.

John Ellis is considered one of the outstanding voices on the tenor saxophone. The New Yorker achieved second place in the renowned Thelonious Monk Competition and has appeared on over 100 albums as a sideman with artists such as Sting, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Charlie Hunter, Robert Glasper and others. worked together.

Fabian Almazan is a Cuban-American jazz pianist, composer and film composer who stands out not only for his virtuosity, but also for his stylistic and thematic depth. He studied under Kenny Barron and Jason Moran. Since 2007 he has been the pianist in Terrence Blanchard's band. Almazan runs the label Biophilia Records, which combines music with environmental awareness. His music combines elegance, lyrical depth and orchestral breadth - sometimes intimate, sometimes polemical, always rich in nuances.

Jalen Baker is an American vibraphonist. He earned his bachelor's degree from Columbia College Chicago in 2017 and his master's degree in jazz studies from Florida State University in 2019. His two albums, “This Is Me, This Is Us” (2021) and “Be Still” (2023), received widespread recognition in trade publications such as Jazziz and Downbeat. As a sideman and bandleader he works with Ulysses Owens Jr., Jeremy Pelt, Leon Anderson and many others. a. and performs regularly around the world. Baker combines masterful technique with emotional depth - his performance is witty, passionate and always inspiring.

Ben Street has been a fixture in the world of jazz double bass since the 1990s. He studied with Miroslav Vitous and Dave Holland before moving to New York, where he is a sought-after player in all subgenres of jazz. He has worked with Lee Konitz, Sam Rivers, Ben Monder, Joey Calderazzo, Cindy Lauper, and is also a member of the Billy Hart Quartet along with Mark Turner and Ethan Iverson. He can be heard on more than 100 recordings and is the winner of the Down Beat Critics Poll 2020.
