ABOUT THE BOOK
Adam and Sára, long-time partners, find a strange creature during their return home at night and decide to that they would take him to his grandmother's cottage and call the vet the next day. The cottage is located in the Stepa, a part of the city that is gradually turning into a graveyard with the last brave and quirky inhabitants.
Flora — that's how they name "it" — doesn't look like anything familiar or alive, but Sára takes a liking to her. they gradually form a bond. The couple decides to stay in the Steppe and take care of Flora despite everything and everyone.
Flora is the prose debut of the poet Jonáš Zbořil. A tender and terrifying novel with elements of dystopia about parenthood, it also tells about the new nature that is being created under our hands.
