Josii Yakecan is coming to Slovakia — a woman from Brazil, ceremonial singer, vocal mentor, guide who travels the world and brings with her something that cannot be learned from books.
Her voice is not just music.
It is a prayer.
Josii grew up in a deep connection with nature and her work is influenced by Afro-Brazilian traditions, spiritual songs and cultures that she studied during her travels around the world.
He brings healing songs — music that has the ability to open the heart and heal through the vibration of the voice.

This workshop offers a safe and supportive space for discovering one's own voice and a subtle, authentic connection with the body.
It is not about singing perfectly, but learning to listen to yourself, release tension and allow the voice to express itself freely.

Through simple and guided practices we will work with:
• conscious breathing
• gentle body movement
• somatic and therapeutic voice exercises
• emotional expression through sound
• listening and connecting in a group
These practices are accessible to everyone and adapt to the pace and needs of the group, creating a respectful and sensitive environment for each participant.
No singing experience necessary.
Open to all levels.

About Josii. as a technique, but as a living gateway between the body, nature and the inner world.
Her journey to music began as a personal healing experience. It was through her that she discovered the voice as a powerful tool of transformation, prayer and inner listening. She gradually traveled, immersed herself in different rituals, traditions and cultures — and in these experiences deepened her relationship with the voice as a channel for presence, healing and authentic expression.
For more than 15 years, she has been sharing her voice at ceremonies, retreats and gatherings in different countries, where she creates safe and supportive spaces for women. Spaces where they can reconnect with themselves, express their emotions and remember their inner strength.
Her vision is to guide people back to their own voice — to the voice of the soul, to nature, to the connection with the earth and what is true within us.
Her work connects voice, conscious work with the body, spirituality and deep listening — and brings experiences that are at the same time both subtle and deeply transformative.
