About event
Olafsonn and the Big Bad Trip
Olafsonn and the Big Bad Trip are an instrumental fixed star of the Czech psychedelic scene. Although their base has always been and is still, especially in the waters of psychedelic rock, almost decades are doing exploratory expeditions to other genres, be it progressive rock, stoner, jazz, tribal music, acoustic folk, or even black metal and avant -garde directions.
They are known for their energetic performances in masks, emphasis on visuals, eg in the form of original live projections, and cooperation with foreign bands such as Austrian der blutharsch and the Infinite Church of the Leading Hand, Polish Bön, Greek 1000ods or Air Methlab and others.
After the last two acoustic albums from 2021 ("selenopolis", "Eclipse One"), the band is enriched with a pianist and a new drummer returns to electric sound. The first fruit of the new album "Soul Retrieval" released in October 2024.

-------------------------------------------------------------------- AS FVCK
Joyless AS FVCK is Prague's four, which instead of antidepressants lauds the massive guitar walls à la my Bloody Valentine and mixes them with a swinging trip-hop beat in the spirit of Massive Attack. Their concert resembles mass noise-therapy: Shoegaz's sound wall is poured over the audience, while the lyrics without napkins validate everyday chaos. Everything is given with a proper dose of sarcasm - it burns, but does not leave lasting consequences. Visitors who are routinely drowning in notifications and to-do lists will receive an hour during which all obligations can cut, shake and drown in the reverb. Joyless AS FVCK thus offers ironically the most sincere form of relaxation for anyone that the current reality squeezes like a can: turn off the feed, exchange anxiety for collective catharsis and leave with the feeling that when the world is burning, we can at least burn together and aloud. Anyone who needs to hear the inner chaos converted into decibels will be appreciated. href = "https://www.instagram.com/joyless_as_fvck/?hl=en"> https://www.instagram.com/joyless_as_fvck/?hl=en
