Jozef van Wissem, a world -renowned lute and composer of dark music, brings his unique music project to the Czech Republic. Van Wissem, renowned for his ability to connect ancient Renaissance and Baroque music with modern experimental elements, he has, among other things . More than twenty years of music have crystallized in cooperation with Zola Jesus, Gary Lucas, Tetuzi Akiyama, Jarboe or Thor from Swans. He is also the author of music for the LGBT film Union awarded in Cannes last year. He currently publishes the records on his own label Incunabulum Records. "The lute is like part of my body," he says of an instrument that constantly inspires him to find new music routes. His hypnotic melodies give the songs a dark yet essential touch. It is unbelievable what this tool can create a dark atmosphere not unlike drone bands such as Earth or Sunn o))).

Jozef van Wissem will guide you through the dark corners and quiet depths of his work, which does not know the boundary between the past and the present. Com Artist/1MC0FQPPLBOQFXYUTHFDN
