About event
A fun holiday matinee at the iconic Laurelthirst Public house. Great scratch food, possible day drinking or non alcohol mocktails. We hope to see you!
Featuring JT Wise, a formidable force on guitar, Maggie Wise, bassist and soulful singer, and Ken Woodside who also performs in Shorty and the Mustangs on drums. Topped with musical twists and turns, toe tapping rhythm, improvisation and vocal harmonies. Enjoy bluesy, roots rock songwriters and old faves such as JJ Cale, Jerry Garcia, Lucinda Williams.
"I listen to the band and can't figure out what makes JT's guitar leads so different and so great. He sounds like no one else on the planet. I'm on the edge of my seat listening”! - Mary Flower.
“One of the many splendors of this group is that their collective harmonies are rich and dance above their collective tasteful guitar work”. Daniel Curran, Positively Entertainment.
