24.10 - 24.12.2024
Opening: 24.10.2024 from 19:00
We invite you to the exhibition «JUMP».< br/>Kateřiny Slunečková here explores the fleeting moments of tension and expectation, when everything seems still, but change is inevitable. The exhibited works capture the boundaries between calm and action, where silence before movement takes on deep symbolism. Through these images, the viewer enters a space of transition where reality mixes with the inner world – with questions of time, decisions and the unknown. The exhibition offers a reflection on what it means to be "right before" and how this state manifests itself in human experience.
Kateřina Slunečková @katerina_slunecko is a painter, visual artist and also a gallery owner. Slunečková, who until now has mainly devoted herself to figurative painting, in her latest work crosses the boundaries of figurative expression and also works with a space without figures, where real places appear, which, however, appear unexpected and elusive. For the first time, she also incorporates abstract elements into her works, which moves her work to an intuitive level of feeling. Her compositions evoke memories that leave us with feelings we once knew but had forgotten. Both figures and outlines in specific environments gradually disappear, allowing the viewer to enter a world where presence is expressed through atmosphere and subconsciousness rather than through form and concreteness.

We invite you to the exhibition "JUMP".
Kateřina Slunečková explores fleeting moments of tension and anticipation, where everything seems still, but change is inevitable. The exhibited works capture the thresholds between calm and action, where the silence before movement takes on profound symbolism. Through these paintings, the viewer enters a space of transition, where reality merges with the inner world, raising questions of time, decisions, and the unknown. The exhibition offers a philosophical reflection on what it means to be "on the verge" and how this state manifests in the human experience.
Kateřina Slunečková (@katerina_slunecko) is a painter, visual artist, and gallery owner. Having previously focused predominantly on figurative painting, in her latest work, Slunečková transcends the boundaries of figurative expression, now working with spaces devoid of figures, where real places appear unexpectedly and elusively. For the first time, she incorporates abstract elements into her paintings, moving her work into an intuitive realm of feeling. Her compositions evoke memories that stir feelings long forgotten. Figures and outlines of real environments gradually fade away, inviting the viewer into a world where presence is conveyed through atmosphere and subconscious impressions, rather than form or specificity.
