About event
We invite you to the opening of the exhibition Juraj Florek: Funky Dust on 10/04/2026 at 18:00.
The exhibition will last until 3/5/2026.
The exhibition FUNKY DUST is a sharp insight into the work of Slovak painter Juraj Florek, who is dedicated to painting the contemporary urban environment. He is interested in everyday urban motifs, which, transformed through the medium of oil painting, take on a fresh new perspective. His long-term intention is to portray ever new cities on canvas. He does not avoid the difficult environments of industrial architecture, the seemingly unpicturesque corners of the contemporary city or the current exuberant architecture. It refers to a painter who searches for the unadorned truth through his work.
The creation of the exhibition was supported by public funds in the form of a scholarship from the Art Support Fund.
