About event
"And he welcomes me with a smile in his office on the top floor of a glass building, he welcomes me with an outstretched palm, that's an important gesture, he welcomes me with an Italian hug, a pat on the shoulder and he grabs me by the shoulders, he's already leading me. It hasn't even been a minute of our meeting and he already has me under control, he's already taking me under his wing like a bitch dog, he's leading me, he's already maneuvered me into a hierarchical structure. mantras, to prayers, I try to free myself from domination, and so I repeat in my mind: Only me, only me, only me! And I'll sharpen my weapons."
We invite you to the author's evening and presentation of Juraj Koudela's book Kult rysa ostrovida on Monday, November 18. from 18:00 to Košice Artfor on Hlavná ulica.
The debate with the author is moderated by reporter Peter Béreš.
A story full of irony, sarcasm and dark humor takes place over seven days in the world of power, cynical wealth and manipulative conspiracy. The reader finds himself in a world full of strange images, ideas and delusion. Despite this, the reality of corporate companies is captured extremely faithfully, and a person climbing the career ladder is depicted just as faithfully.
Kult rysa ostrovida is the writing debut of one of the publishing duo of Juraj Koudela's Absynt publishing house, illustrated by Tomáš Klepoch.
We organize the evening in cooperation with the Tatran publishing house. The event from public resources as part of the Literary evenings at Artfora was supported by the Art Support Fund.
We look forward to seeing you at the bookstore📚
