Snarky Puppy trumpeter and keyboardist Justin Stanton celebrates his Berlin premiere with his international quartet. Among others, the up-and-coming saxophone talent Emma Rawicz will be there!

The multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger Justin Stanton has made an international name for himself through his work with Snarky Puppy, with whom he won several Grammy Awards. He studied at the renowned University of Texas. His diverse career includes collaborations with artists such as David Crosby, Trombone Shorty, Michael League and Becca Stevens. In addition to his work as a sideman, Stanton, now based in Portugal, explores the boundaries between jazz, funk and electronic music with his own projects.

Emma Rawicz is a British jazz musician (tenor saxophone, flute, bass clarinet and composition) who is currently causing quite a stir in the jazz world. At just 22 years old, the young whiz kid is already established in the scene and is considered one of the best players of her generation. Emma has been making music since she was a child and later studied at the Royal Academy of Music. She went on tour with her debut album Incantations, released in 2022, and played at international festivals as well as in renowned venues such as Ronnie Scott's. Her second album was released on ACT in 2023 and was supported by, among others, Ivo Neame. She played in a duo with pianist Gwilym Simcock and has received several awards for her art.

Haggai Cohen-Milo was born in Israel and is known for his work as a double bassist, composer and performance artist. For more than ten years, he has been developing his own method in collaboration with dancers and choreographers, which acts as a link between sound, movement and visual art in performance art. Haggai Cohen-Milo performs in front of an audience, but also works in the recording studio and appears on over 30 albums for labels such as Warner Music Group, Fresh Sound Records and Tzadik. In 2017, the musician moved to Berlin, and a year later he received the Echo in the “Ensemble National” category together with the Israeli Omer Klein Trio.

The drummer Amir Bresler first came into contact with jazz music at the age of 15 when he registered for the jazz program at the Thelma-Yellin National High School of the Arts in Givataim, Israel, from which he graduated with honors. In recent years, Amir has established himself as one of Israel's most sought-after drummers, also appearing with guest musicians such as Sam Yahel, Joel Fraham, Mark Turner, Kirk Lightsay and Dwayne Bruno. In addition, Amir plays with various Israeli artists including Avishai Cohen, Daniel Zamir, Kutiman, Gilad Hekselman, Nitai Hershkovits, Shai Maestro, Yotam Silberstein, Amos Hoffman, Gilad Abro, to name a few.
