About event
Interesting of the Dutch heritage by Ed Verhoeff, Boudewijn Lucas and Lucas van Merwijk
In the Kaaskop project, guitarist Ed Verhoeff, bass player Boudewijn Lucas and drummer Lucas van Merwijk are bundling their forces to create a unique Dutch musical heritage. The aim of this project is to give new dimensions to melodies through instrumental operations and improvisations that reflect the essence of Dutch music.
The repertoire is diverse and does not include the Dutch jazzer heritage, but the width of Dutch music in all its facets. From iconic artists such as Boudewijn de Groot and Anouk to classics of Golden Earring and folk songs such as "On the Amsterdam canals". Well -known and less well -known melodies are not just covered, but reinvented with a new and creative approach.
