About event
After a large number of scientific publications, Lydia Kieven has now released her first fiction. In "Coffee in the Temple. A life between the Rhenish village and Java" she tells us her life and career, which led her to the wide world from village conditions, to Indonesia, and there to intensive dealing with Javanian wisdom and culture.
With atmospheric stories, descriptions and associations, she lets us understand how they immerse themselves in Javanian life and culture or guessed Javanic wisdom. She gives us a very personal look at her research on Java and his temples.
