Location: Multnomah County Library - Holgate, Southeast Holgate Boulevard 7905, Portland
About event
The stage of the library belongs to everyone! I am planning an Open Mic event every season. Each time I will invite a group to be a guest performer. The first event will be on March 11th. Whether you are interested in becoming a guest performer or need to hone your skills on the stage, you are welcome. Please contact me at [email protected] or join onsite.
Open Mic and Improvisation Night
March 11, Wednesday
5:30 pm - 7:30pm
Holgate Library
This free quarterly event welcomes musicians, singers, poets and creatives of all ages, styles and skill levels. The event kicked off with performances by local artists, followed by an open mic session for individuals and bands to showcase their talents. Finally, it ends with a jam session where all participants come together to create music together.
We provide microphones, basses, guitars, keyboards, drums and light percussion instruments for participants to use, or you can bring your own instruments. Whether you're an experienced musician or just starting out, this is an opportunity to share your love of music, meet new people, and join a vibrant community of artists. Come to the library, grab a mic, and let your creativity shine!
