About event
🚩😓 Over the past years, it has been repeatedly proven in the Czech Republic that animal abuse takes place in slaughterhouses - kicking, hitting the head with sticks, swearing. This is how thousands of animals live their last moments before death in our country. And all this behind closed doors - without witnesses, without responsibility, without compassion.
📷🐰 But change is possible! Members of parliament will soon vote on the placement of cameras at slaughterhouses, however, the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture is insufficient. MPs need to be persuaded to stand behind a tougher amendment that will better protect animals from abuse throughout the already horrific process, with no exceptions.
🪧❤️ Let's stand together against the cruelty of animals in slaughterhouses and support a more ambitious amendment. The demonstration will take place on Monday, October 21, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in front of the Chamber of Deputies, on Malostranské náměstí in Prague.
💪🎤 YOU TOO ARRIVE - with or without a banner! At the demonstration, representatives of animal protection organizations and politicians supporting the proposal will speak on the topic.
