About event
The discussion will offer a unique perspective on the events of November 17, 1989 through the experiences and interpretations of three specific communities: queer, Vietnamese and Roma. We will look at how these communities perceived and were affected by the social changes brought about by the fall of communism. The aim is to highlight the diversity of experiences and reveal what challenges these communities faced in relation to their newfound freedom and how their perspective differs from the dominant narrative.
