Liturgy of prayer

: I recited the Lord's Prayer out loud in Greek every day before starting work and very often repeated it to myself while working. Subsequently, I made it my only practice to recite it every morning with absolute attention. If my attention wanders during the recitation, or if it falls asleep even for a moment, I start again until I have completely pure attention. Sometimes it happens that I start again out of pure pleasure, but only when I am prompted by desire. The effectiveness of this exercise is extraordinary and always surprises me, because although I experience it every day, it exceeds my expectations every time. The space will open. The infinity of the usual space of perception is replaced by infinity on the second, sometimes even on the third. At the same time, this infinity of infinity is completely filled with silence: a silence that is not the absence of sound, but the object of positive perception, more positive than the perception of sound. Noises, if there are any, penetrate to me only after passing through this silence.

The deeper we enter into our solitude, the more we discover unity with others and the more we can influence the very life of the universe from within.
