🫀 Feel the pulse of psychedelic rock intertwined with the mystery of the Middle East and electronics, and all this in a well-trodden performance by two live bands:
🎸 Kapre (SK) and Ana Gemi (TR/SK).
📀 There will also be an afterparty and a selection of hits that few local ears have heard.
KAPRE (SK)
🔨 Adventure drummers from Slovakia combine the tones of all continents into an explosive mix that will make your body and mind dance!
They mix the exotic sounds of the Indian sitar, Turkish baglama, Arabic oud, Celtic violins or medieval flutes with tribal rhythms and modern electronics. 🎨 Their goal is to show that music and dance can be shared by people of all religions and skin colors.
🤝 Milko, multi-instrumentalist and traveling bard of rainbow warriors. Mani, the beating heart of the band. Konco, the marathon percussionist. Regal, the mysterious bass magician.
🌏 Kapre have been playing their eclectic world music style since 2004. They have hundreds of performances and now they are going to Pink Whale in Bratislava, to make all creatures dance! GEMİ (TR/SK)
🇹🇷 They come from Turkey and live in Slovakia. Inspired by the sounds of Anatolia, this experimental band transforms Turkish folk motifs into a modern musical experience. Ozan and Hűseyin bring a fresh take on tradition, Život adds distinctive beats and all of this rests on a fat groove from Sasha. The result?
