Caravan
r. Zuzana Kirchnerová
Czech/Slovakia/Italy, 2024, 102 min., Original wording, MN18
Sun, sea and the feeling that you don't have to do anything. For Esther, who has been tirelessly taking care of the son of David with mental disabilities for years, it sounds like a dream. Therefore, he accepts the invitation of friends and follows them to Italy. In a foreign environment, however, David is unpredictable, emotional and causes problems. Esther does not want to be a burden on anyone, so he starts a weaned caravan and sets out on his own way across the country.
