🚚 Poetic Road Movie Karavan, which you could see in the UN Certain Regard Competition Section at this year's Cannes Film Festival and at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Special introduction section, and will be attended on Sunday, August 24! Kirchner and actress Aňa Geislerová. Forty -five -year -old Esther after years of care for son David with mental disabilities seems like a dream. He therefore accepts the invitation of friends to come to them to Italy. In a foreign environment, however, David is unpredictable, full of emotions, problems. Ester does not want to be a nuisance to anyone, so he starts an old, shutdown caravan and sets off herself with his son on a journey across Italy. No plan, duties, only they two. The immediate zuza invads their lives, before which they can be themselves. Esther also realizes that her son is no longer a child, and finally finds the courage to want something from life and something for himself. Karavan is a poetic road movie about freedom, various forms of love, about the aggressive desire to finally start living, not just survive. (Cinemart)
