Karel Kryl 81 - večer písní k narozeninám

As every year, I will play exactly on the day of Karel Kryl's birthday with a concert of his song. This year I invite you to the beautiful and inspiring space of the Drama Café in Prague. April 2025 Karel Kryl would live for 81 years. Kryl's work is timeless and in the last time he resonates society again with great urgency. You will listen to the most famous hits, less known songs, but also Kryl's poetry performed by a musician of many faces - Petr Samšuk, who performs with a recital of Kryl's songs often. He performs most often with his own permanent band Sam’s Band, but also in smaller sets and also solo. It prefers to maintain the strength of Kryl's songs of played and sung by one interpreter over various modifications. His greatest achievements are performances with the recital of Karel Kryl's songs as part of the International Music Festival Český Krumlov - at the "smoothed church" in the Military Újezd Boletice. He has been performing with the recital of Karel Kryl for 8 years and has completed dozens of concerts. The first project in 2016 was Birthday Concert Bob Dylan, an almost three -hour concert depicting the lifelong work of this bard in many forms. This was followed by a relatively demanding program in honor of the guitar and atmosphere - Erica Clapton. The Concert Project The Concert In the evening for Peter Kalandra was a logical sequel, because Kalandra's music of Petr Samšuk at the 80s for arrival in Prague formed at the studio. As he says about himself, "he left half of his heart in Horňácko".
