Pierre, a psychotherapist by profession, and Colette, a cultural manager, both in their early 40s, live in a condominium in L'Haÿ-les-Roses, one of the many suburbs of Paris, when the Corona pandemic in 2020 begins to gradually restrict the couple's life and work and gradually throws them back on themselves and the rather small and increasingly narrow world of the two. In addition to her marriage, Colette maintains a lesbian relationship with the younger and, above all, self-confident Madeleine, which creates the desire for a child, which the two women then bring to Pierre. Somehow everything should stay in the family. This now completely plunges him into his already considerable self-doubt and thus into a crisis that he alone, as he knows, is unable to solve. And so the mysterious and beautiful patient, who appears as if out of nowhere, is just right for him and, whether imaginary or not, sits on his couch a few times.
Karin Nohr pursued various teaching activities and worked as a psychotherapist for many years; She is a lecturer at several therapeutic societies as well as the German Society for Psychoanalysis and Music, which she co-founded, for which she organized two internationally attended symposia. As a result of a drastic life event, Karin Nohr decided to devote her time solely to writing.
