About event
Conversations over a cup of coffee and a dictaphone attempt to capture part of the life and artistic journey, opinions and attitudes of the exceptional artist and person Karol Petróczi.
The texts are supplemented with excerpts from the essays of one of the most remarkable metaphysical thinkers and essayists of the 20th century, Béla Hamvas, which "complete" many of the outlined topics.
We invite you to the presentation of the book Interviews with concert master Karol Petrócz on Friday, March 27. from 17:00 to Košice Artfor on Hlavná ul. 87
The book will be introduced by its author Mária Špaková-Kornucíková with the participation of maestro Karol Petróczi.
Musical guest - Jana Vozníková, violinist of the Košice ND orchestra.
Milan Kolcun will host.
Karol Petróczi worked as the first concertmaster of the Košice State Philharmonic (ŠFK) for 42 years. He is one of the leading violin teachers in Slovakia, for decades he worked as a conductor and artistic director of the Košice Teachers' Choir and the Collegium Technicum University Choir. The result of his dramaturgical collaboration on ŠFK recordings is over 100 albums for HNH International, many of which were unique. He is active on several continents.
If you love music and deep thoughts, don't miss the fresh news of the year and an inspiring book with the potential to return us "home" - to Goodness, Beauty and Truth.
The publication of the book was supported from public sources by the Art Support Fund.
Entrance to the event is voluntary.
We look forward to seeing you at bookstores📚
