✨ Get to know the Devised Theater Phenomenon! In the next April lecture will be offered by Karolina Plicková, a recognized festival dramaturgist and curator of the alternative theater, a unique view of the creativity laboratory that demolish the established hierarchies and gives space to those voices that are neglected.

🎭 Under the term devised theater you can imagine a number of diverse forms of authorial approach to the theater. The content and form are generated in such a creative process at the same time, the structuring of the material is in parallel with the creation or collection of a new substance, the creators and creators are found in the situation of constant negotiations, with themselves and the team, selecting options, initiating other directions, thinking and discussing form. The Devised Theater is primarily the laboratory of the process of cooperation, discussing hierarchies of all kinds, it is an opportunity to vote to those who are not sufficiently heard, formulate what is common, navigate the paths of current intricate reality, radically imagine and look and find possible forms of the future. curator, organizer and teacher focusing on current alternative and puppet theater. She studied theatrology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, won the Václav Königsmark Award for his thesis. She graduated from DAMU. It is a dramaturgist festival a small inventory, operating at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theater DAMU, organized by shows flying Puppáci and puppets in chain. She is the author of the book to observe empty space (NAMU, 2022) and editor of the collective monograph DAMU Theater and Ethics (NAMU, 2023).
