The courtyard of Budatin Castle - 100 places
Local Žilina farka for young people from 12 years. Every city has its secrets, stories and legends. They talk about them with memorials, they are told by narrators, and many are also written in urban archives. They relate to various places of the city - buildings, walls, squares, catacombs or narrow streets. The city of Žilina also has its legends. Those who talk about the Katius in Zilina have become an inspiration for a street theater called Kata's daughter Kata. The story is wondering around the insidious castellan from the Budatín Castle, who makes a detection on the maid of the councilor. But she loves a young blacksmith. The castellan wants to seize the beautiful maid at all costs, so he tries to thwart their love everywhere. The thread of the story takes us to the scaffold, which is ruled by the city cat. Thanks to him, it will eventually cut a knot of tangled story
human love, passion and envy. The production directed by Jakub Nvota again brings a comedy full of humor, parody and joke to the Slovak Square and streets that will surely entertain the wide layers of viewers. DAUBRAVA
Music: Peter Vaňouček
Play: Braňo Bačo, Ján Demko, Martin Frank, Anna Homolka - Čitbajová, Bibiana Tarasovičová, Jana
Eliášová a.h., Peter Vaňaček a.h., Denis Dubjel a.h.
