Acropolis
Catatonia, one of the most prominent and respected formations in the field of melancholic metal, returns to Prague as part of its upcoming European tour. Since its Death/Doom Metal Beginning at the age of 90, this band has undergone a remarkable musical development that led it to a unique sound mixing the progressive rock, doom, post-metal and alternative elements. Their compositions are carefully built by music landscapes full of emotions, contrasts and deep texts that reflect existential themes and introspective considerations. After the triumphal success of the album "Sky Void of Stars (2023)", which conquered critics and fans and dominated European music charts, the band sets out for another magnificent tour. The Swedish band Evergrey is one of the key representatives of progressive metal and since its inception in 1995 has released fourteen studio albums. Their work is characterized by a dense atmosphere, emotional vocal manifestation of Tom S. Englund and complex, layered arrangements. And the Italian-American project Klogr combines alternative metal with progressive and post-grunge elements. The music of the band is strongly influenced by modern alternative rock, but at the same time retains a dark and introspective atmosphere.
