Martin McDonagh's dark comedy, awarded the prestigious Olivier Awards for best play of the year, takes place in late 1960s Great Britain, where the death penalty has just been abolished and where Her Majesty's second most famous executioner struggles with the question of what to do next. The clash of the old and new world unfolds in a chilling grotesque, as well as the story of the executioners who took their work home. Does the saying "All's well that ends well, all's well" also apply in the case of execution?

Suitable for viewers aged 15 and over.
