writer. His personality and life journey can be a great inspiration for every society, in the Czech environment his example is one of those forgotten. His toughness, adamance and moral maxism in difficult times convicted many of the laxity, laziness, inability of solidarity or even direct hatred, and, on the contrary, inspired many to understand, solidarity and love for his neighbor (and the enemy). After the Second War, despite the wild desire of some Czechs for revenge on the Germans, he organized the project "Actions of Chateaux" for Jewish, German and Czech children, regardless of national or racial origin. The work, approach and ideas of Přemysl Pittra now forces us to re -think about concepts such as nation, nationalism, pacifism, Europeanism, emigration or solidarity. Participants of the children's studio of the Nation's Memory Theater, which is devoted to the issues of freedom and democracy, are thus direct actors in the production. An important aspect of cooperation was their experience with more complicated historical themes and also preparation within the theater studio.
