About event

A trip to Kazbek is a great proposition for people who already have basic experience in winter tourism and want to gain their first five thousand meters. As the only one on the market in the Kazbek entry program, we set up an additional acclimatization day and additional accommodation above meteostation, optimally as soon as the conditions allow - on plateau. This is a plus small groups and the professional care of leaders significantly increases the chances of success, also for people with slightly weaker condition, and improves the security of the entry.

Our climbing at Kazbek will take five to seven days. Participants of the expedition will not have to carry everything on their backs: to the slopes of meteostancja on the slopes of Kazbek (or slightly lower in the event of a large amount of snow) heavy backpacks will take a horse. Ourselves to the Gergeti monastery at 2300m and take the car back. To maximally increase the chances of all participants to reach the peak, we will gain acclimatization gradually and slowly. The peak attack on Kazbek, as long as the weather allows, we will start not like most groups from meteostancja, but from a camping located about a thousand meters below than the summit. In this way we will keep an important acclimatization rule. Thanks to this, also slightly weaker or slower people will be able to reach the peak.

By going to Georgia, it is impossible to focus only on the sporting purpose of Kazbek. Hence, in our program, the right supply of time, allowing to visit the picturesque capital of Tbilisi, historic church on our route or the charming Truso Valley. There will also be tasting of excellent Georgian cuisine and drinks.
