Christmas is a time of calm, peace and... a fierce battle for possessions. Trevor and Nina, a representative married couple from New York's social cream, outwardly create a perfect picture of success - he is a respected gynecologist, she is a chef of a famous restaurant. Inside their luxury apartment, however, there is chilling tension.
It's all down to an inexorable prenuptial agreement that works like a ticking time bomb: whoever files for divorce first loses everything. However, there is one tempting loophole - if one of the partners proves unfaithful to the other, the contract becomes invalid and the winner takes everything.
During a traditional Christmas party, where the eccentric married couple Imelda and Artur are the only attendants, the social conversation gradually turns into a sophisticated trap. The atmosphere thickens, the alcohol flows and seemingly innocent celebrations turn into a merciless battlefield where the game is not fair. In the end, who will reveal the truth and who will be left behind? An evening where every word matters is about to begin.
