About event
In this musical story, reART and the Volksoperahuis take you on an adventure along the Black Sea. Based on the novel Keraban, the Obstinate by Jules Verne. In it Kees Scholten tells about a Turkish tobacco trader Keraban from the former Constantinople, who takes his Dutch business partner Van Mitten on a journey. Keraban is a musical story with music from the folk tradition of the regions surrounding the Black River. Sea. About a curse on a dowry, trafficking in women, persecutions, a forced marriage to a noble beauty, a host who struggles with his own right, and a docile guest who gets into trouble.
