About event
Maya Onku
Coming from the coastal communities around Enoshima, a small island southwest of Tokyo, Maya Onku is a fur collective of local musicians. The band started in Ace General Store, a vintage store where they also organized jam sessions in addition to compiling the vinyl collections. Their sound was formed in the accompanying studio: a mix of psychedelics and folk. In 2023 they released their debut album 'Approach to Anima' on which that mix of Genres is fully reflected.
Khana Bierbood
Khana Bierbood was founded in 2012 in the Beanswijk Bangsaen in Thailand by University Friends from the sixties. During their writing porces they soon discovered the similarities between their own sound and Thai music styles such as Funk, Luk Tung and Molam. By bringing these sounds together, Bierbood knows how to create a contemporary Thais pop sound.
