Sofie has to make a piece of work for school about something that is a big mystery to her: the typewriter! With only the keyboard of her smartphone as an example, she feels completely lost. But then her mother tells her an exciting story: there used to be large machines with which you could type, and there were special typlesses for women. And those lessons were given a little further in the street in the Schoevers building!

Sofie wants to go there immediately! But can you just inside as a child?

"What if I meet someone who knows more?" She thinks. Maybe there is still an old student or someone who knows a lot about those typing lessons.

And why were it especially women who had to learn this type? And who gave those lessons? Were those men or women? Sofie has so many questions that quickly need an answer!
