In cooperation with the distribution platform KineDok, we bring you regular movie nights in the library. We will meet once a month, always on Thursdays in the Regional Library at Slovenská 18.
⏰ We invite you to the screening of the film Agent of Happiness, which will take place on 𝟰. December at 16:00 p.m. at the Academic Department.
📽 The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it competed for the Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Documentary category.
🎭 𝘢 फिलदेजवे: Amber works for the Center for Gross National Happiness, which measures the level of satisfaction of the citizens of Bhutan. Together with a colleague, he travels around the country and asks absurdly specific questions about happiness. The film offers a sensitive view of a society where statistics do not have time to capture the reality of everyday life.
💰 Admission to the event is for holders of a reader's card, seniors and disabled persons in the amount of €2.00/person. One-time admission for the public: €3/person.
