About event
Screening of a Georgian-Polish documentary film as part of the European Kinedok project.
The guest of the discussion after the film will be Boris Strečanský, an expert on the civil sector and a long-time expert on Georgia.
This is the personal story of Mariam, who has been haunted by a recurring nightmare for seven years. One day he goes to meet the monster of his dreams - the Abastumani Tuberculosis Sanatorium and falls in love with a majestic old building that tells stories of Georgia's past.
One day, however, a Georgian oligarch decides to buy the building and his actions will change history forever.
Some say there is no evidence of ghosts and that magic is just the art of deception. In that case, nothing in this movie is true and it's all just a dream of a place that will never be discovered. As Mariam sets out to face her nightmare, she meets a community of outcasts in a majestic old building in the mountains and discovers something much more sinister.
The film is shown in Georgian, with Slovak subtitles
Entrance is free
