We invite you to the screening of the documentary film - The Other, which explores the neglected topic of healthy siblings in families that care for children with special needs.
It gives a voice to all those who have ever felt like the others.
About the film:
Eighteen-year-old Johana wants to leave her hometown. He wants to graduate and go to university. However, the last year of high school represents a more demanding period for her than for her classmates. She has an irreplaceable role in her family — she helps take care of her younger sister with a handicap every day. Despite all the love, she must free herself from the expectations of her surroundings, find her own space and leave her sister's shadow. Johana is the so-called a glass child, unknowingly overlooked by his overburdened parents and the world. Can he overcome his doubts and feelings of guilt and dare, like the others, to put himself first?
