About event
🎬 CINEMATOGRAPHER: DJ AHMET
This year's Cinematograph on Trojično námestí will end on Saturday, August 15, 2026 with the film DJ Ahmet. The screening will start at 8:30 p.m. 👇
ℹ️ Fifteen-year-old Ahmet lives in a traditional community in North Macedonia. After the death of his mother, he has to take care of his younger brother, help the family and respect the expectations of his authoritative father. However, his real passion is music and he dreams of becoming a DJ one day.
When he also falls in love with a girl that the family has already promised to someone else, he has to choose between traditions and his own path. ✨ A sensitive, energetic and sometimes humorous film brings a story about coming of age, first love, music and the desire for freedom. 🎧
