Kino na hrade Devín: Dunaj – diskusia a premietanie 🏞️

🌊 The Danube under Devín is not just a view. It is a living river, a landscape and a memory of a place - also a question of how we can take care of nature today, of which we are a part. 🌿

The evening will open with a discussion with conservationists from BROZ and the protagonists of the documentary film Dunaj, which will smoothly transition into the screening itself. 🎬

The film follows the Slovak section of the river through the run of two conservationists from the association BROZ and WWF Slovakia and zooms in on the places where the Danube shows itself in its beauty and vulnerability - in floodplain forests, branches, on the banks and in sections marked by human intervention. 🏞️

The document connects personal experience with the topic of river protection and invites us to look at the Danube not as a border or resource, but as a living system to which we belong. 💧

At Devín Castle, where rivers and history come together extremely strongly, this story takes on a special dimension. 🏰

The film was created in cooperation with the conservation association BROZ and was filmed thanks to the financial support of the Swiss Re Foundation. Co-funded by the EU. 🤝

The event will be interpreted into Slovak sign language for the deaf and hearing impaired. 🤟
