About event
On Sunday, November 17, we invite you to the Cinema Stories of Injustice 🎥, which we are organizing on Jungmann Square on the occasion of the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.
You can look forward to three films by Karel Strachota:
🎬1989: We Want to Breathe
The film focuses on the so-called defective youth. She wants to live freely, in accordance with her ideals. However, the repressive communist regime constantly intervenes in her life.

🎬 1989: From the diary of Ivana A.
It became the model for the film the authentic diary of eighteen-year-old Ivana A., who reflects on the last year of the existence of communist Czechoslovakia with the unique perspective of a high school student.

🎬 1989: From letters written through the iron curtain
Peter Kořínek is 21 years old, comes from Pardubice, listens to underground bands, reads samizdat books, has problems at school because of his long hair. And he decides to emigrate. It is the beginning of 1989 and there is no indication that he will be free in communist Czechoslovakia.

You can bet at any time during the day, the films will be played on a loop from 11 a.m. to 22 hours. 🕚
There will be a big screen, chairs and blankets to warm up! 🧣
There will also be a stand on the square, so stop by for the Píběhů bezpráví newspaper, see what else we are doing and tell us how you liked the films.
We look forward to seeing you! ❤️
The project is implemented with the financial support of hl. m. of Prague.
