This time we project:

At first glance, a small atoll looks like four hundred polynese as a paradise on earth. The common community living isolated on an island washed by the clear waters of the Southwest Pacific is devoted to traditional rituals and music, feeding on fish and resting in the shadow of coconut palm trees. However, due to global warming, the coral island has been increasingly flooded with rising ocean levels in recent years. Therefore, the local government wants to move Islanders to the mainland, but they do not want to go to an unknown environment and uncertain future. Rather, they will invite a pair of scientific experts to their island in the hope of finding a solution for them. The New Zealand film Briara Marche in the spirit of Cinema Verité and using a great camera captivates the direct impact of environmental changes on the community of indigenous people. Through portraits of Tela, Endara, Satty and other islanders, it offers a unique insight into the traditional way of life and thinking of polynese - people who, despite their harmonious coexistence with nature, speak fundamentally into life negative impacts of climate change.
